Story
These are two beautiful babies whom I am just amazed at how
perfect they turned out to be...
Birth story: The original biological parents chose not to take babies after
7wks pregnant, but my husband and I took custody and completed our "journey
of love" with the two little ones. We sought out a committed couple to love
them and adopted the twins to this couple..We were so blessed to have had
the twins in our lives. They taught us about what it means to really love
someone without any strings attached. We loved them enough to make sure they
have a wonderful life with another couple who could not have children. We
delivered the babies on Jan 6th by c-section and to our amazement they were
good size for being 32 1/2 weeks along. We fought for them to stay in there..I
had 6 blood transfusions post delivery and even though it was a bit scary
I still knew God honored our efforts and would take care of me for the sake
of my children and husband. We left the hospital that next week with a sense
of accomplishment and pride, knowing two little people were there with a
loving mommy & daddy because we walked a road of sheer committment...I
will cherish that feeling, even though our journeys end was different than
we thought it to be, it indeed was Gods journey for us and one that we as
a family will never forget. We will always treasure those little people,
and love their new parents too as we know raising children is not an easy
task but it is a challenging, dedicated road of love...So we release them
all to the Lord and ask that each surro born baby be well, and know that
the love we held for them in pregnancy will follow them all the days of their
lives. We wish you little ones well...God grant your mom & dad wisdom
in teaching you the ways of becoming a fine young man, and young woman...These
children are never given up as some may think but they are hand delivered
to a couple who desire to share in the gift of parenthood....A surro journey
in my opinion is just a small portion of a childs life...Raising them is
the more difficult job. So if you are a new parent of a surro born baby take
heart that your job is just as if not more important than carrying baby...You
have 18yrs to develop in this babys mind a sense of who they are and to be
confident in their life choices...This is the greatest job of all. God Bless
you all whether you are the giver of the gift, or the receiver of the gift...Both
of you are special part of babys life...
