Birth Story:
Funny story!! We had always thought she was coming
early so we didn't book any plane tickets for her parents to come until
about 2 weeks before the due date. They were to come on the 28th late
and I was due on the 31st. So time went on and it looked good for them
making it for the birth. Well the night before they were to arrive I
started to have pains which I thought were just one of the many
discomforts of pregnancy and that they were nothing. And after being up
half the night uncomfortable I thought I should probably go get checked
out. When I got to the hospital they told me I was 8 cm dialated
already and about an hour and a half later she was ready to come into
the world. So she did. Labour started around 11pm and she was born a
little after 6am. And because I got to the hospital so late (around
5am) they told me that any pain medication wouldn't work so it was
pointless, so I suffered through it and settled for the gas and did I
ever use that gas. I sucked in as much as humanly possible. And her
parents arrived about 18 hours after she was born because there were no
earlier flights than they had already booked. So she, being a little
girl, is already proving to her parents that she is the boss and no one
was going to plan her birth!!!!
