Savannah and I are so happy that we finally have a baby of our own!!! It has been very difficult with the last 5 years of disappointment!!! But having Aleaha makes it all worth while!!! I KNEW one day Savannah and I would have our child!!! and we did...TO ALL THE GAY partners out there!!! KEEP THE FAITH it WILL happen!!!

Birth Story:
Savannah and I decided we wanted a child from almost the beginning but with us both being females it would be a bt more difficult...Also with the laws in our state...We looked into adoption...and it all came to a scrething halt when we would bring up that we were a gay couple...So we looking into insemination...Savannah wanted to carry our first child and I would carry our second...after 1 and 1/2 years of that down the tubes we looked into pairing up with a male gay couple...we found a couple that met what we wanted and we fit theirs...that lasted a year still no baby...it was draining for all of us and we decided that we all just couldn't do it anymore...so we looked into the final option...surrogacy...We looked and looked when we said that we were a gay couple I think a million phones, doors and everything else shut on us except for Elizabeth...She was different...She was everything we could of asked for and when she was told gay couple she stood right there and kept listening!!!
We met liz on Feb 16th of last year we were all exstatic and everything clicked!!! It was great!!! We talked about everything together!!! after about 6 months we got the call of a life time it was liz...She said that there was some news she didn't think it was anything but she was 5 days late!!! on june 30th we got the results liz WAS pregnant YEAH!!!!! It was the happiest news ever Savvy and I were going to be parents!!! When Liz was 8 1/2 months along she moved in with us because she was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia...Savannah did everything for liz so she would stay off her feet...On Sunday March 21st 99 We were introduced to Aleaha grace carson!!! She was beautiful and so tiny!!! I instantaniously was in love!!! My daughter...our daughter...Aleaha came home march 25th we celebrated like it was the end of the world...it was just the beginning : )
Liz is a great friend and always will be we will treasure her always!!!
