Birth Story: My story is simple: I had been praying for a miracle in my life; some way to get pregnant and start a family. I am from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and we do not have many clinics here. One day, in the infertility clinic, I spoke with a young lady (Ashley) who was diagnosed with leukemia, but was pregnant, thinking about abortion; however could not kill her baby. She said the father made it clear that they could not keep it, and she told him she was going to abort it. They both were college students, unprepared for a pregnancy. She decided to visit the infertility clinic to find a way to bless someone with her blessing. She did not want compensation: she only wanted notification when the baby was born and that his first name have something with a "J" (preferably Jeremy) after its father. I thought that was cute. I knew it was only God who answered my prayer. Over the next couple of weeks, we exchanged health and genetic background information...months later, I'm a proud mother!!! I just contacted my donor, Ashley!!! She is healthy and so is my baby boy; thank God for such an angel...
